Our children may be returning back to school, but we're not going back to normal. This year in Illinois, families and educators are teaming up to collect our #RightToCare. We demand early childhood care families can afford, access and trust and fair pay to educators that dedicate their lives to our children. Finding the right childcare changed my life, but it shouldn’t

By

Finding the right childcare changed my life, but it shouldn’t be this difficult. When I found my daycare center, Little Angels in Chicago, I realized they don’t just lay kids on a blanket, they’re developing their emotional skills. All four of my kids have attended Little Angels. Mrs. Greer and her staff have stuck around my family for 10 years. Not a lot of parents can say that. Sometimes in life, we have no one we feel comfortable talking to, but Little Angels took the time to build a relationship with me and my kids. They helped me look for gifted schools, fill out applications, and find housing. When it comes down to it, my kids’ safety is my number one concern. So when I sensed they were comfortable, I knew I picked the right organization.
