I live in a childcare desert

I live in a childcare desert. The closest licensed childcare center is 25 minutes from my house. It’s high quality but also high cost. I didn’t have anyone to rely on. I had to cutback from my full time job. Luckily my boss was accommodating and I wasn’t fired. Finding high quality center that is diverse in staff AND families that’s affordable. I currently pay 40% of my paycheck for childcare.
