Our children may be returning back to school, but we're not going back to normal. This year in Illinois, families and educators are teaming up to collect our #RightToCare. We demand early childhood care families can afford, access and trust and fair pay to educators that dedicate their lives to our children. The path to success starts with childcare.

By

My name is Moira Matos, I am a family Support Specialist at Carole Robertson Center for Learning at Albany Park. Over the years I have seen the impact that child care has on families generations down the line. As young as 17, I have been involved in my community and have seen the greatness childcare does, not only for the child, but for the families as a whole. It allows the child to grow in different aspects such as STEM and Art, developing them and setting them up for success before they even enter a classroom. Families have the opportunity to advance their careers, have education options and develop plans to not only support their families but to enhance the family experiences.
